The Pyramid

Written by Siobhan Colman
Directed by Aimee Blesing
With Felicity Steel, Don Bridges & Mick Lo Monaco

Everybody has a secret...

A dynamic theatrical work about love and secrets, 'The Pyramid' explores queer identity and the paths taken away from and toward our true selves.

Set in a suburban Australian household, 'The Pyramid' is a tragi-comedy that addresses the consequences of repressed sexuality and thwarted dreams. Presented in three monologues, it delves into the lives of Kate, a housewife who is a closeted lesbian and about to come out; Jack, her husband, who is ignorant of his wife’s true identity; and Pete, their gay Scottish Terrier, who sees everything and knows more than he should. All is not what it seems, and three lives are changed forever in one moment of innocence and betrayal.

Mommie and the Minister

Mommie & the Minister

Three to a Room presents a Sisters Grimm production.

Angelic twins Edmund and Harriet Lovely are your average six-year-olds… Except they live in a basement, play with rats, and are in their late twenties. Locked downstairs by their demented Mommie, the "children" have waited twenty years to meet "the Minister". Could murder be their only escape?!

An Air Balloon Across Antarctica

An Air Balloon Across Antarctica

Powerful and poignant, An Air Balloon Across Antarctica tells the story of Caitlin Evans, a female explorer travelling across Antarctica in a hot air balloon to scatter her son’s ashes, accompanied by Ham, a lemming trapped in a hamster’s body. Balancing levity and gravity, absurdity and aching realism, An Air Balloon Across Antarctica is a breathtakingly beautiful piece of theatre exploring the edge of the earth and the edges of ourselves.
